Cool changing wallpaper from Bing.com

bingLogo lg thumb Cool changing wallpaper from Bing.com Another fantastic way to personalize your Windows 7 desktop is to use the wallpapers from Bing, Microsoft’s search engine that’s gaining market share from Google.  Every day the image at Bing changes and frankly they’re stunning.

So what do you need to do to have your desktop update itself every day.  It’s quite simple.

  1. Start notepad, to do that click the Start button and type notepad
  2. Copy the following text after these instructions into the window and click File > Save As.. and call the file bing.theme , save it to your Documents library.
  3. Open your Documents library and double click bing.theme then from the popup select Download attachments.  Now every day your theme will change.

This tip has been everywhere, but it originally came from Long Zheng from www.istartedsomething.com & makeuseof.com .

i am using both Bing and Google and i think both search engines give relevant search results. i would still prefer Google though, because it gives a little bit more relevant search results than Bing.

my default search engine is Yahoo but now i am using BING because it is much better than Yahoo. i heard that Bing search engine would power Yahoo search also.

Yes, remains to be seen how they integrate the search technologies but Bing is gaining massive market share and that only means more investment…there’s an improvement coming to indexing very soon…
