Love it or hate it Microsoft have lots of hope pinned on the Xbox360 as a device for entertainment in your living room. Right now it's also the best extender available as it remains to be seen if new ones will be announced at CEDIA. It is then quite nice to see that the price for an Elite has dropped by $100 USD and Pro (which will also becomme extinct) has dropped by $50 USD....hope we see these drops in the UK and EU too!
As this Gizmodo post points out that brings pricing back into line with the PS3, which is a good thing. Go on then, someone comment on the noise... :)
